Cheese & Wine Celebration

Cheese and wines have many things in common. Both are natural products and are strongly influenced by where they come from. Behind famous wines and good cheeses stand individuals who look after their product with love and dedication. The cheese & wine events are intended to help develop and increase awareness and enjoyment of aged raw milk cheeses, paired with the appropriate wine.

The cheese & wine events consist of a four-course dinner. In each course, a specific cheese family is introduced, each time paired with the appropriate wine. Throughout the meal, the individual taste experiences and their stories are presented and discussed by Rolf Beeler. He will tell you all about the making, the history and the personality of the different cheeses. You will find out why good cheeses are always made from raw milk, what effect the ageing process has, how to handle cheese correctly, what the shelf-life of cheese really is and what the story is with the infamous Listeria. The events comprise a varied and entertaining programme full of fascinating information. There is a great atmosphere, and the shared experience offers the chance to meet new people.
